A treeless saddle? I am not talking about showing.
But there is a really great Endurance treeless saddle for sale and soo low price. But would it be ok to jump around in for fun for awhile until I can get a more jumping-appropriate saddle?

Oh! This is more like an English saddle than Western! Doesn’t have a tree and is definatly more of an English saddle!

I would think so. It’s just like an english saddle, so yes. Go for it. But remember, save up to get a good saddle. Or at least an english saddle.
Yes, it is fine at lower heights (under 3′) and you cannot depend on stirrups alone to hold your weight. Make sure to distribute your weight over knee and thigh and stirrup. OH! and make sure you have the correct saddle pad for a treeless saddle, this is very important to keep pressure off the horse’s spine. I have a Freeform and LOVE it.
Hope you love yours! I really find it to be helpful with dressage work because I can feel the horse better.
Treeless saddles are quite different from tree saddles and there are so many different treeless saddles out there that I would suggest that you check with the manufacturer. Some are safe to jump in and some are not.
I am using and selling Barefoot saddles and from what I have heard they are talking about launching a treeless jumping saddle. And since there are quite a few on the market already I would say that you theoretically can. Especially if it is not too high and only on occasions. But double check with the manufacturer of your saddle.
I hope this helps.
