I am buying a saddle for about $1100 less than the retail price, practically new. However, i don’t get to choose the color, and it doesn’t match my bridle. I don’t trust myself to darken it with oil myself, as it is a considerable investment and i’ve never been so great at stuff like that. Please don’t suggest i do this myself. So how much would it cost to take it to a professional and have them re-dye the leather?
I already own the bridle so i cannot match the bridle to the saddle.

We have bought several new saddle pads and I need to be able to keep them clean. All our pads in the past start to smell bad. We have tried several different ways to clean them but it seems that nothing so far has really worked. We give our horses baths often enough but so far they still give us stinky pads. We also always seem to take really long rides 4-6 hours and sometimes overnight trips as well. We always take extra pads along on overnighters so that we are always using dry pads.
